Colorful and healthy cabbage stir fry that takes only 10 minutes to prepare. Have it as an appetizer or side dis.



2 cups shredded green or white cabbage

½ yellow / red bell pepper chopped

1 medium white onion

½ Green bell pepper

1 large carrot shredded

23 tablespoon olive oil

2 Garlic cloves crushed

½ teaspoon cardamom powder

½ tablespoon turmeric


1. In a  saucepan, heat olive oil and add the onions. Cook on medium-high heat for about 3 minutes or until soft. Add the crushed or minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes.

2. Add the shredded cabbage, bell peppers, and shredded carrots. Mix well to combine all the ingredients. Cook on medium heat uncovered, often stirring for 3-5 minutes. Add salt, turmeric, and cardamom powder and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes. Do not overcook it to make it a little crunchy. 

3.Garnish with shredded coconut or fresh herbs and Serve warm.
