Description

Simply add all the ingredients to a blender and puree. In less than five minutes it is ready to serve.


Ingredients

Scale

12 large ripe avocados (pitted and sliced)

1 tsp onion powder

3/4Cup dairy-free milk or fat-free yogurt 

1 tsp garlic powder

A handful of fresh basil leaves ( 0ptional)

2 tbsp lime juice

Pinch of salt

Ground black pepper( Optional)


Instructions

1. Place the Avocado, basil leaves, milk, onion powder, garlic, lime juice, and salt in a blender or food processor. Pulse until you get a soft creamy consistency. If the sauce is too thick, add more milk to achieve your desired consistency.

2. Transfer the sauce in a clean bowl, garnish with cilantro or fresh basil and serve with tortilla chips, vegetables, or over salad.

3. Store any sauce leftover in an airtight container in your refrigerator. It can stay fresh for about 12 hours without turning brown.
