An easy vegan Banana bread that requires only six ingredients. Blend those overripe bananas and use them to make this delicious bread.
3 Large/ 6 Small Very Ripe Bananas
1/3 cup of oil with no flavor, like sunflower oil or grapeseed oil
½ teaspoon stevia or 4 TBSP vegan maple syrup
1 1/2 all-purpose flour
3 tsp baking powder
1tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp vegan butter/ oil spray
*optional* Chopped almonds, walnuts/dried fruit, dark chocolate chips.
Preheat your oven to 180 Degree centigrades or 350 degrees Fahrenheit and grease your baking tin with some vegan/dairy-free butter or oil spray.
Place your peeled bananas, vanilla extract, oil, and stevia/ maple syrup in the blender and blend until smooth with no lumps. You can also mash the ripe bananas with a fork ,add the oil and sweetener and mix .
In another separate medium bowl, mix the flour, cinnamon powder, baking powder, and any other extras until well combined. Ensure any baking powder lumps are adequately broken down and mixed in.
Gently fold in the wet contents into the dry ingredients and mix until the ingredients are thoroughly combined. You don’t have to beat the mixture.
Transfer the mixture into your greased tin and bake for 40 minutes. If the bread goes brown in the middle of the baking tin, cover the baking tin with a foil to prevent it from browning further. The bread is cooked when a skewer can be pulled out clean.
Allow to cool before serving!
