How to make healthy and delicious Vegan Homemade whole grain waffles that are crispy on the outside but soft on the inside.
1 ¼ cup whole wheat flour
¾ cup oat flour
1 ¼ cup plant milk
2tablespoon coconut sugar
2 ½ baking powder
½ cup apple sauce unsweetened
2 tablespoon maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
Olive oil spray for greasing the pan.
1.In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients: wheat flour, oat flour, baking powder, coconut sugar, and salt. Mix well and set aside,
2.In another bowl, mix the wet ingredients- maple syrup, milk, apple sauce, apple cider vinegar, and vanilla extract. Set the mixture aside.
3.Fold in the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until they are well combined and get the desired consistency. Please do not make it too runny or too thick.
4.Spray your waffle maker with spray oil and add in the butter. Let your waffles cook until it beeps, and leave them for a minute for a nice crisp texture.
4.Cook until all the butter is used up and serve. Top with some fruits and syrup.
5.You can freeze the leftover waffles for later.
